So, I was surfing DA not too long ago and stumbled upon, Seisei, who occasionally draws GW fan art and it is unfuckingbelievable. I just about peed my pants when I saw it. I mean, I haven't encountered fan art this beautiful in a while. What's more is that Seisei has agreed to let us host her gorgeousness. OMFG!!!!! *bangs fists on keyboard* GO LOOK! And send feedback! It's sooooooooo good! *euphoria*

In other news: it's official! Pixie, Ophelia and I are going to AX! In 7 days!!!!! AHHH!! I'm madly excited... I'd be bouncing off walls if I wasn't so exhausted. All this work jumped me and now I'm but a sad pile of tired. The vacay rest didn't last even a month, gundamnit all! Yeah, my emails are lagging pretty bad because of it, my apologies. Well, Ophelia and pixie with revive me, then I'll revert to my normal keyboard-mauling self. Alas, no updates will be posted until then.

So, I was randomly surfing the interwebs for GW stuff and first found these amazing cosplay pics. Aren't they cute?? Heart pang! Then found some really nice scans at Anime Paper (but there's a weird system you have to bypass to download the full size...meh). Then found the official Japanese GW site, Gundam-W.jp, where something unusual caught my eye: hi, hello, looking good. Yeah, uber prettified. It looks like they recently drew new DVD box covers—and the series isn't being remastered like I first thought (aww). Though that would be awesome. They'd make so much dough, ho man. Anyhow, those of you ardent enough to dish out your savings can buy the prettified box sets here: Memorial Box Part 1, Part 2, Part 3. All limited editions. Snap.

And, for something amusing in an odd sort of way: I accidentally found this adorable Heero doll posing for pics on Flickr... face shot, body shot, in a kimono. lol, how random.

Lastly, major OMG alert: Toshihiko Seki, Duo's seiyuu, will be at Anime Expo!!!!!!!! I just about peed myself when I found out. He's, like, one of my most favorite seiyuu! I mean, who could forget his panting and moaning in Ai no Kusabi? And...and... we get to meet him! *astonishment followed by a volcanic nosebleed*

Heya, I'm baaaaaaack! To lametastic Minnesota, booo. I'm so in denial right now...I'll seriously try to pretend I'm still in Florida for as long as I can cause it sucks ass here. And, uh, as part of my attempt to ignore reality, I've been working on Densetsu pretty much exclusively. Ended up (finally) revamping Nanashi, the Den's founder (best wishes, wherever you are!), and Triste, who is utterly amazing. Sad thing is that I checked if she's around anywhere and she's not—not even on ff.net! Triste, ya mad genius, what're ya thinking? Well, I still totally love you. Anywho, coming soon is LinkWorshiper then (not so soon) Naomi and BlueViolet. Heh, yeah, I recently realized that I'm hosting, like, most of the GW yaoi fanfic sites' webmistresses. Dude, hawt! Orgy plz! XD

Wow, been a while. Sorry for the lack of updates, guys. I had a really tough month in terms of work and ya'll school-age kids have finals, right? So, everyone's busy. I do have some news though: Densetsu has a new affiliate, the GWG - yay, active GW sites unite!! And I'm hoping to draw a little something (for Persey XD) before I leave on my vacation. Yep, I'll be out from 11th-22nd this month. Gonna go chill in Florida where May looks the way it's supposed to...*rolls eyes at cold, rainy Minnesota*

Also, a reminder that I am still revamping. There are 17 authors left, Triste being the closest to being done.

*twiddles thumbs* Uh, I've been exceptionally horrible about email this month and I apologize to those of you who are still waiting for a reply. *pained look* ...let's see, what else? OH! I did manage to watch a few eps of Chi's Sweet Home! Each ep is about 5 mins and not much happens, but it's fiercely adorable just the same. :P

Also, I've got a technical question (sparked by MsLarking): I've had some authors listed under the "misc" category for genre and that's not particularly helpful, so I've renamed it to "introspective", as these authors tend to write contemplative pieces. But I was wondering if there's an official name for it? I tried looking for one but with no luck. So, opinions anyone?

On a totally irrelevant note: I was checking Baka Updates releases for any new D.Gray man eps and, instead, found Chi's Sweet Home. It's about this insane chibi cat named Chi. I have no idea what this could possibly be about, but... its crazy face kinda reminds me of myself. Especially after I've spotted a really good author. LOL!

Alright, it's technically not the 1st anymore since it's past midnight, but I'm awake and updating, so I say it is! Hyuhyuhyu. Right, well... yesterday, I tried to get some work done (and we all know I've got more than enough of it) but nothing came out. Maybe it was the colossal snow storm (yes, Minnesota has snow storms in April) that made me so drowsy and languid that I had to give up my struggle for productivity and indulge in some fan fiction instead. (I know, I'm so original.) I thought to myself, "hmmm, Persey's got stories I haven't read—why don't I catch up on those?" YEAH, I read all 22 chapters of Storm Clouds for 10 HOURS STRAIGHT. Because I'm insane... insane uber fan. *scary face* Haha, but yeah, I have it posted so ya'll can read (and review!) it too—and on a black background, as not to scorch your eyes on ff.net's stupid white background. It sucks, it fuxx0rs my eyeballs! It's like staring at a freaking light bulb. Sorry, now I'm just rambling... XD

Ohhh and guess whose birthday it is today?? Ophelia's! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BABE!!!!!! I heart you lots and lots!!! *snugglemolest*

Chi's been a busy bee, ya'll, revamping and updating (and booking for AnimeExpo, YUS!). Firstly, I've got Persey-darling's The Little Things Give You Away, the sequel to Attempting Repair, posted. Along with The Message and The Gift, Persey's slightly older works. Hehe, I feel funny calling a ficcie from 2007 "older"—the Den's got fics from 1999!! As a matter of fact, some of which I've edited and re-posted today. Before I get to that though: please please please review Persephone Choiseul's ficcies—as well as those of your other favorite writers! Nothing feels better than a few kind words on an otherwise crappy day.

Onto the revamps: I've got several more author archives up, including Star_Sun and Shinigami Neko.

Pensive One: OMG, how can it be that we've lost touch?? It's mind-boggling! Well, I'm sure it was my fault (please forgive me!), but I've been thinking about it lately and can't figure out how I could've possibly let you go! What a woeful mystery. Uh, I suddenly hear Midnight's voice calling me a fool and telling me to email you already... but I'm too ashamed! I r fail.

NekoNeko: lol, my brave one, your archive survived epic rapeage. It's a shinning example of how ficcies from 1999, posted by Nanashi, endured my god awful coding, two revamps, edits (yes, I policed your spelling and punctuation, as you had some...curious ideas about spacing), and are still somehow in one piece. *medal of honor*

While I'm at it, the revamps status is: about 17 authors left!!! SO CLOSE!! *starts wheezing from all the excitement... cause I'm old*

I'm gonna make a quick update with the promise of reviews and emails later, as usual, because this time I'm all dizzy and disoriented (I drank one of those organic power drinks this morning and it's been messing with me all day) and my neck busted out in hives. Wtf?! That never happens to me...UGH. I'm like a walking human experiment today. Uh, sorry, back to the updates: the incredible Persephone Choiseul wrote Chapter 2 of A Little's Enough and David revised Part 3 of the Soldiers Of Apocalypse, which I revised in turn because I've been posting the format wrong (sorry, hun!). So, now it's as intended: broken up into parts then chapters.

And, yes, I'm not done revamping the old archive yet.

On a lighter note (sorry, manic-depressive update): it just occurred to me that some ficcies here are mighty steamy... like blush inducing, temperature elevating, eyebrow raising, heartbeat accelerating, breathtaking steamy. (Yes, I just read ShenLong's newest submissions, lol.) And, oddly, it's never crossed my mind to put up an "are you over 18" screen for certain ficcies. Any thoughts? Rather, let me put it this way: is anyone here UNDER 18? Because I get the feeling that the Den's for old bats such as myself, lol.

Haaay guuuys, I'm back with updates! Our lovely Persephone Choiseul wrote a sequel to her anti-Valentine's oneshot, Attempting Repair, so you can have your heart broken all over again. And who isn't up for that on a fine sunny afternoon?? *maniacal face* Anywho, I've also archived her first(?) ficcie: A Moment In Rain (review to come when it's not 2:30am). Please send her feedback, will you dears? Much obliged. ^_^

Other than that, more rearranging happened with Densetsu's archive: I've revamped a couple more authors and removed certain others because I'm a ghastly beast their fics were either really short and hopelessly incomplete or just plain incoherent. Or both. *kicked in the face* Arghuggh...ok, that's fair! If you suspect that you may be one of those authors, you can...um, take a fly swatter and smack my ass with it? XD

One more thought: is anyone out there going to AnimeExpo this July?? Because Ophelia and I so are! We'll be, like, the most fabulous Narutard crack pairing evaaaaar!!111 Right, babe? *tacklemolest*

EDIT: uh, so I was feeling nice and murderous and drew wolf crier, an illustration to one of my most favorite stories of all time, Jay's Crying Wolf... 7 years after I read it. Yeah, because I'm cracked out like that. No, in truth, it's because I didn't feel that I had the capacity to illustrate it properly (and I really didn't) until now. So, finally I did it. Yeah, the story is struck me to the soul. Still does. Fancy that, hmm?

EDIT #2: lulz, I can't stop updating! Well, only one hour left (in my time zone), so this is the last notice. See, I was going through my old emails and discovered a long lost affiliate, Kaika's The Shade! Erm, site seems to be down at the moment. OMG OMG, one of the most amazing authors just granted us permission to host her splendidly addicting (tried and tested on this Chi) ficcies: Persephone Choiseul! Thank you, darling!!! I'm soooooo happy! *gushes* I'll be archiving her work as I read it, so expect much more excellence in the near future. Gods, her stories are so good I fell into an euphoric hypnosis and drew her a fanart: an illustration to Lonely Day (the ficcie I'm absolutely obsessed with right now). That was yesterday and today, I drew another one but shhhh, I'm not done with it yet! I'll upload it at 1am or something, kekeke right here: oh story, thou art so cool. Erm, I was going to say something else but I forgot cause today is my dad's birthday and I ate too much cake. ^______^

Afterthought: I've just realized that I may have hurt some people's feeling with my selective fangirling and ought to explain the reasons behind it. See, I'm the extremely impulsive and somewhat idiosyncratic artist type that does stuff on a whim. If I feel like drawing something this instant, I do; if I don't then that's that. Also (this said without exaggeration) I have at least 20 things on my to-do list at any given time. I can't do them all at once, hence procrastination. Basically, please don't take it personally if I've drawn fanart for someone's fic and not yours, or if I've fangirled over someone more or something. It's not that I like anyone less—in fact, I love you all a lot and I really don't want anyone to feel left out, so please keep this in mind, mmk? Many thanks. Lots of news! First of all: I am so excited to tell you that BeckiebooTwo has agreed to let us host her amazing fan art! I'M SO HAPPY! Thank you, hun, I love your art so hard!! Second: I am ALMOST done converting everything! I know, isn't it the greatest? The fan art section has 9 people left IS DONE (massive rejoicing) and fan fiction has about 30. I've revamped a whole lot of people this week, including David and Ophelia—finally!! And, again, the unfinished sections cannot be displayed due to the nature of the script. Third: I've put up a Q&A in About since I think the Den kind of needs one.

In other news: Phoenix, my magical pixie, has disappeared. I sincerely hope it's not for good, because that would be totally traumatic and prove that there's something karmically wrong with this website (lol, Ophelia, you know what I mean). So, come back, pixie, come back!

Hi ya'll! Chi here with some news: I paid this site a visit the other day and, yeah, something broke again (my poor neglected website, is there ever a time when you're all right?). It seemed to me the perfect time to post the new layout, since fresh code makes bugs go away... for the most part. Not everything is ready, so you'll see me editing stuff within the next couple days. I'll let ya'll know when this place is good and done.

jan 16: Mk, the fan fiction section is up, but is by no means complete. Do not panic! There are at least 20 authors still missing, but due to the nature of my new revolutionary script (thank you, Risujin!!!), I cannot list those whose files aren't ready. It works like this: a function prints each author's name along with the year they last updated and their pairings/genre tendency; but it cannot print a name without a link. Ah, it's so great though! I wish I had it years ago. Well, Phoenix and I will be inviting many new writers (if they'll have us, heh), so hopefully, it'll come to good use.
